Numerous conspiracy theories, religious texts and prophecies predicts the end of the world in 2012. Will it be "game over" for planet earth on december 21. 2012? I will now share my thoughts on this issue.
About 2 years ago, I got really interested in the ancient Mayans and basically everything related to the 2012 doomsday. I came across tons of theories and opinions, many of which were groundless scare tactics, while others were quite significant and noteworthy.
I can't count how many people I've talked to who dismiss all 2012 predictions without even knowing any details about the prediction they just dismissed. Following the flock and saying no to every theory that suggest things out of the ordinary, and to treat these like nonsense is simple, but a smart person like yourself knows this really is nothing but closed mindedness, and not the path to true understanding.
This may be obvious, but the media, as with any other business, wants to earn money. I'm sure you've seen a few documentaries about 2012. Pretty much all of these contain false or misleading information, designed to make people interested and not change the channel, instead of giving you the accurate information you have the right to know. I'ts also worth noting that the government does not want you to be aware of certain important 2012 related information.
So will it be the end of the world in 2012? Nobody can know this for sure, but I believe something important is going to happen.
Please listen carafully! There is a website that will answer all your questions about 2012, and give you the real truth! I highly recommend it! To find out if it's the end of the world in 2012, visit this website: http://www.2012-reality.info/

Urban wear is identified with the hip-hop culture, and by extension, with mostly young people who are involved in "extreme" sports. If you are a hip-hop lover or an extreme sports enthusiast, then you are part of that group that practically lives in urban wear.
Urban wear or urban clothing is always bold, fresh and expressive of the hunger, restlessness, and in-your-face fearlessness of the hip hop generation. Urban clothing is also distinguished by trendy looks, controversial designs and a constant need to change and appear up-to-the-minute.
Urban Wear Goes Designer
From the beginning there has been a preoccupation with "designer" urban clothing. It is not enough just to look "urban". New designs must be flambouyant and in your face. While youthful-looking in many regards, most urban clothing designs have been earnest and very concerned with projecting a "screw you" image.
Some recent trends in urban wear have been more lighthearted - acknowledging the showmanship built into urban wear - that the attitude is more imagined than real. As designs started to migrate from the rapper-inspired, rapper-owned design shops to more mainstream labels the transformation was inevitable. It is just a bit much for mainstream labels to make out as though they are downtrodden and unhappy with the status quo. They are the status quo.
Brands such as Rocawear, Ecko and Akademiks have long been identified with the urban wear trend and are well known for fashion designs born out of the street culture that was the source of both rap and urban wear designs. In fact many of the original urban wear labels were founded by rappers themselves. Like most celebrities they were simply trying to use their image and notoriety to make money selling things.
Inevitably, newer companies such as Vokal have stepped in and modified the world of urban wear to include fleece loungewear, high end velour, denim, and striking, brightly colored athletic jerseys. Another company, Baby Phat, takes a different approach. Their thing is to create a blend of hip hop style and uptown metropolitan fashion. The result is a more refined urban look that well to do trendies can buy into.
This co-opting of the urban clothing concept is really just the fashion industry doing what it always does. It is cashing in on the trend-following nature of consumers. And as usualy they are targeting people with money who want to make an impression and are prepared to pay top dollar to buy the latest trend.
Wholesale Urban Clothing
On the other hand, the fact that the urban wear universe is transforming itself so rapidly has meant the development of a major market for wholesale urban wear. Since urban wear designs change quickly and manufacturers need to stay ahead of the curve in order to survive, they are usually quite prepared to sell large volumes of the last cycle's designs for very low prices.
That means that enterprising clothing merchants can buy up large or even medium sized lots of over stocked items and sell them in bulk - often on the internet - for much lower prices than you can find in most retail stores that stock urban clothing.
Some sites will even sell wholesale urban wear in small quantities of four or five. So for consumers who find an item they like this is ideal - they can buy three or four for the price of one. This even allows a person interested in staying with the fashion trends to essentially replace their entire wardrobe for a fraction of what it might otherwise cost.
Basics of How to Start a Wholesale Clothing Business
One of the growing trends in businesses today is wholesaling, especially wholesale clothing. This is because apart from any other wholesale businesses, a wholesale clothing business is always on the demand.
Part of the reasons is that clothes are one the essential needs of mankind, and fashion clothing lines are always on the demand. But before starting a wholesale clothing business, here are important details that an aspiring wholesaler would have to know before starting an online wholesale clothing business.
The Wholesalers Role
The main task of wholesaling is being the middleman that oversees the transition or distribution of stocks coming from the manufacturer to retailers and dealers. For example; a new batch of clothing line was manufactured by a company. This company will then seek out different ways on how to distribute their products on a large scale, one of which is through wholesalers. After acquiring the stock from the manufacturer, the wholesaler will then use their wide connection of retailers, dealers, or exporters to sell their stock at a profit, which will then be distributed to the consumer or end-user.
To put it simply, the wholesaler will be buying goods to sell at a profit, much like a retailer would. The only difference is that wholesalers will be working in a business-to-business realm by selling to retail companies and other wholesale firms, and not to the buying public. But there is also an exemption to this.
Wholesaling involves two processes, a business to business process and a business to end user process. A business to business process involves the wholesaler doing business with other businesses such as retailers, dealers, and other wholesalers. Wholesalers that deals with end users or the consumers are called retail distributors or wholesalers.
Before Starting a Wholesale Clothing Business
Starting a wholesale clothing business, like any other wholesaling business, entails careful handling and maintenance. A wholesale clothing business requires good negotiation skills, a nose for sniffing out the next hot item, and keen salesmanship. The idea is to buy the product at a low price, then make a profit by tacking on a dollar amount that still makes the deal attractive to customer.
One of the key to success in a wholesale clothing business is experience. An individual should possess a varied job background such as sales background that involves being an outside salesperson who hits the streets and/or picks up the phone and goes on a cold-calling spree to search for new customers.
In addition, the owner of a new wholesale distribution company will need the operational skills necessary for running such a company. For example, finance and business management skills and experience are necessary, as is the ability to handle the back end.
Setting up the Business
A wholesale clothing business engages on the same process that any other wholesaling businesses would have, the only difference is its start-up costs. One of the reasons why a wholesale clothing business is popular with starters is because of its basic needs.
Setting up a wholesale clothing business may vary according to what type of product the wholesaler chose to specialize in. For example: a wholesaler chooses to run a wholesale business that involves food products such as hotdogs or burger patties. This may involve a rather sophisticated warehouse such as refrigerated storages to keep the food frozen and fresh.
In a wholesale clothing business, one may buy or rent a storage space for their stock or run a business from their basements. A wholesale clothing business doesnt require any kind of sophisticated storages or offices to run. All it needs is a secure and time-efficient store house where clothes will be kept safe from any outside elements such as weather and break-ins.
Transportation is also as important as setting up storage. For those that are just starting out in this line of business, its important to set up business on a location where manufacturers and customers are close enough for a short transport. This is because this will cost wholesalers much less to order from local manufacturers and suppliers than ordering from far-off companies or overseas manufacturers. Ordering close to where the business is can save money on shipping.
The Customers
Wholesaling is commonly a business to business process where wholesalers deal with other types of businesses. As a wholesaler, their choice of customers includes:
Retail businesses: This includes establishments like grocery stores, independent retail stores, large department stores and power retailers.
Retail distributors: This includes the distributors who sell to those retailers that wholesalers find impenetrable on their own.
Exporters: These are companies that collect United States-manufactured goods and ship them overseas.
Other wholesalers: Wholesalers may sometimes buy off from another wholesaler due requirements that they cant overcome such as exclusive contracts and issues like one-time needs.
Finding a Niche
In any kind of businesses, finding out a niche unique from any other is the most important to become successful in their industry, especially in a wholesale business involving clothes.
A wholesale clothing business requires one to have the ability to sense of what others cannot provide such as specializing in cheap but luxurious night gowns, plus sized clothing lines, unique urban clothing lines, cultural or traditional clothes and many more. These kinds of clothes are those that other wholesale clothing businesses commonly leave out because of its small demand.
Thought that is true, there are still those that looks out for these kinds of clothing lines, and when they do find one, theyll likely buy it all out because of the fear that they cant find another wholesaler that sells these kinds of clothing lines. The technique here is to take advantage on what others leave out, and sell it high on someone looks for it.
In other words, what matters is not so much what the wholesaler sell, but how the wholesaler sell it. There are profitable opportunities in every industry, from beauty supplies to hand tools, beverages to snack foods. No matter what theyre selling, wholesale distributors are discovering ways to reaffirm their value to suppliers and customers by revealing the superior service they have to offer, as well as the cost-saving efficiencies created by those services.
This mind-set opens up a wealth of opportunities to provide greater attention to the individual needs of customers, a chance to develop margin growth, and greater flexibility in product offerings and diversification of the business.
